Lesley, how do you describe your role at V+A?

I am the Senior Claims Manager specializing in the management of State Fund claims. I am also an associate of the V+A Marketing Team.

What's the most rewarding part of your job?

Getting an email from the management letting me know that my clients are pleased with my performance and how I manage their claims. That is worth gold to me. My purpose at V+A is 100% client satisfaction. I thrive off of that – knowing that I am valued here at V+A. They do give you kudos for a job well done.

 How do you make life better and/or easier for your clients?

Our clients know that I will go above and beyond and go the extra mile to take the stress off of them when dealing with their workers compensation claims. It gives them peace of mind knowing that I am always just a phone call away. It's a nice feeling knowing that you are not just a "rep" – you are a friend too. Follow up is key in this industry. You can't leave questions, emails or phone calls unanswered. 

 How do your clients describe you?

Knowledgeable, well-versed, bulldog, rock star, dependable.

What is your proudest moment?

Being at my son's Navy Graduation in 2022 and finding out that he was a designated Sailor/Airman/Sharpshooter. Proud Navy Mom! Some people dream of meeting their heroes, I raised mine.

When you're not helping your clients save time, money, and sanity, where can we find you?

At home with my 12-year-old little pup Sophee Louise while staring at my phone in anticipation of a text or call from my Sailor. Being the DIY Ninja and sprucing up a room in my home. Putting my Kitchen Ninja skills to work and whipping up a big pot of homemade spaghetti sauce and meatballs.
